The Huawei Honor 6 Plus also known as Huawei Honor 6X has a decent battery life, a flexible camera and is less like the Honor 6 with a bigger screen. If your preference is a bigger screen, the 5.5-inch the Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be great for you.
Display and Design
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution (401ppi), which is good for a mid-range smartphone and matches the iPhone 6 Plus Retina display. Huawei Honor 6 Plus brilliant screen is good for watching movies on your phone or browsing the web. Because the phone has a narrow 2.8mm bezel the large 5.5-inch screen on the Honor 6 Plus takes up the majority of the phone’s width.
As regard design, the rear shell of the Honor 6 Plus, is made up of 6-layer carbon fiber material, which Huawei claims is quite sturdy.
Processor and Memory
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus comes with HiSilicon Kirin 925 SoC which has an octa-core processor in the big.LITTLE configuration. There is a quad-core Cortex A7 and a quad-core Cortex A15 processor which are paired with an ample 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using the microSD card slot.
The Honor 6 Plus comes in the dual SIM configuration. It accepts a microSIM card and a nanoSIM card. The nanoSIM card slot also takes in the microSD card. On the other side of the SIM card, the nanoSIM card slot also takes in the microSD card. There is a support of up to 128 GB via microSD slot as previously mentioned.
Huawei Honor 6 Plus comes with the Emotion UI 3.0 skin on top of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
The dual-lens rear camera is one of the most important features of Huawei Honor 6 Plus. It has two 8MP sensors in place of one and it’s located in the top left-hand corner on the rear side of the phone. There’s a dual LED flash unit just beside the camera section. Even the front-facing camera has a 8MP sensor.
Though some say that dual cameras allow users to capture more detail from wider angles than a single camera on the back it is not entirely clear why Huawei decided to add two rear cameras to the Honor 6 Plus.
On the connectivity front, there is support for Wi-fi a/b/g/n as well as Wi-fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, NFC support, and 4G LTE. There is also an IR blaster at the top of the phone.
To charge the smartphone and transfer files to a PC the Micro-USB 2.0 port of the Honor 6+ can be used. It also supports OTG, that means it is possible to attach external drives or input devices. The availability of MHL 2.0 makes it possible to transfer the display content to a TV with an optional cable.
The battery is non-removable 3,600mAh with a battery saving mode.

The Huawei Honor 6X is one of the very best China has ever seen. The two quad-core processors alone, combined with the massive battery, Full HD screen resolution, and two rear cameras and one front camera make it a good value handset.
However, the biggest flaw is that the Honor 6 Plus is stuck with both Android 4.4.2 and Huawei’s divisive Emotion UI, which makes it feel very old-fashioned.
The Huawei Honor 6X will be a good choice if your number one priority is a phablet that can capture good photographs.
